ChatGPT dots

Before you start: You’ll need ChatGPT Pro or Business. Dots aren’t available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland yet.

  1. Open ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.Open ChatGPT
  2. Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create and name it Hai.
  3. Paste this as the server URL, and choose OAuth for authentication.

  5. Tell your dot it can use Hai to make phone calls for you.

Dots use the apps you add to ChatGPT. Custom connectors in dots are new, so these screens may look a little different.

Gemini

Custom apps are new in Gemini, so these screens may look a little different. Once it’s added, Hai works in the Gemini app too.

Using another assistant?

Any app that takes a custom MCP server can use the server address above. It signs in with OAuth by itself; if it only takes a token, make one under Advanced once you’ve signed in.

Ask for your first call

Just ask your assistant in your own words. The first time, it asks two quick questions: how the assistant introduces itself, and a phone number it may give out.
